Old Hollywood

Old Hollywood glamour has been one of my favorite subjects this week. When I say old Hollywood, I dont mean two years ago, I mean the 1930's. Fashion and beauty was so elegant and collected in this time era, so I thought it would be cool to do a showpiece on it.
First off, I love al the hair styles! The curls are just amazing!


Secondly, they wore glamorous, luxurious, things. Everything was formal and beautiful, and I think it showcases a finer side of womens fashion.


Lastly, there is the makeup. They all looked so beautiful with full red lips and rosy cheeks. They didn't cake on their makeup, and it was appropriate.


Very soon, I will show you how to apply this style without totally over-doing it. 1930's Hollywood is a time to remember, and a time everyone can enjoy. Looking back at all that happened then, that was a gift.

Sunglasses are my favorite accessorie! I love all the colors, shapes, and how good they look. I own like 20 pairs, and I love them all. Some of my favorite colors and styles include:

Ice Cream

I love summer! Its my favorite season! I love the colors, the nature, the weather, and the ice-cream! Here are some summertime photo's to get you in the mood.

Tricks Commercials Dont Tell You

Have you ever seen the girls with red lips in the Covergirl commercials? Or taken a good look at the people on Victoria's secret adds? Chances are, your not seeing what the actual picture or product look like.

Trick 1: Painted on lips
When cosmetics companies are trying to sell bold lip color, they don't directly apply it to the model. They mix it with oil or water and paint it on. That's why their lips look absolutly perfect. Fair? No. A selling scam? Yes.

Trick 2: Body Spraying/Editing
Whenever companies are advertising swimsuits or undergarments, all the models go through a full body toning, where they spray on a tan. Then, the models are airbrushed and sometimes sparkles are blown on them. When advertising products like these, no freckles/blemishes are going to be shown. After the photo is taken, they edit any wrinkles or imperfect body spots. Terrible and a lie? Yes. A harsh selling motive? Yes.

Hot New Star

Logan Lerman may not be a farmiliar name, but believe me, he's going to be huge. Some of Logans most recent and popular movies include: Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Theif, Meet Bill, The Gamer, and 3:10 to Yuma. Logan has blossomed into the most handsome young star, so watch out for him!

2011, A year of fashion.

Our Holiday Season has Come to an End.

Happy New Years everyone! I wasnt able to post on Christmas or New Years, due to the fact that I was spending time with family and hitting the slopes to ski. I hope you had an amazing winter break! Feel free to leave comments telling me what you got or how you spent your break.
